Privacy policy

This policy covers two different things, because Sindlerfy handles two different kinds of data: information about you as our customer, and publicly posted content written by other people that happens to match the terms you ask us to monitor. We try to be specific about both below rather than writing one policy that vaguely covers everything.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and billing details. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.

Monitoring configuration: the brand names, product names, or personal names you ask us to track, along with any keyword variants, mutes, and filters you set up.

Mention data: publicly available content matching your monitored terms — post or comment text, the author’s public handle or username, the platform it came from, an estimated reach figure, and a link to the original post.

Operational data limited to what’s needed to run the product: login timestamps, digest delivery logs, and the mute or filter rules attached to your account.

What we don’t collect

This website does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party tracking pixels. We don’t know who visits sindlerfy.com, and we’re not trying to.

Public mention data and third parties

The mentions in your digest were posted publicly by other people, on the platforms listed on our home page. We index that content as we found it, and we don’t access private accounts, gated groups, or anything behind a login we aren’t authorized to use on your behalf. If someone whose public post was indexed asks us to remove it, we will remove it from our systems and prevent it from reappearing under that same URL.

How we use information

• To find, rank, and deliver mentions in your daily digest
• To apply the mute and filter rules you’ve set
• To bill your subscription and send billing notices
• To respond when you email us for support

Retention

• Mention data: 30 days on the Solo plan, 12 months on the Team plan
• Account and billing records: kept for the life of your account, plus whatever period tax law requires afterward
• Digest delivery logs: 90 days, kept for troubleshooting delivery problems

Sharing

We use a third-party payment processor to handle billing and a third-party provider to deliver digest emails; both receive only what they need to perform that function. We do not sell mention data or account data, and we do not share your monitored keywords or digest contents with anyone outside your account.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your account data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, at any time, by emailing hello@sindlerfy.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. If you’re a third party whose public post was included in someone’s digest and you’d like it removed, write to the same address.

Children

Sindlerfy is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and note it in the daily digest email.
